Lodophores are stabilished forms of iodine and are used worldwide as disinfectants for aquaculture practices. They also are used to disinfect fish eggs, shrimp eggs and nauplei and are effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi and viruses. it is important that the eggs are not penetrated by the disinfectant.
