Iodophores are stabilised forms of iodine and are used worldwide as disinfectants for aquaculture practices. They also are used to disinfect fish eggs, shrimp eggs and nauplei and are effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi and viruses. It is important that the eggs are not penetrated by t h e d i s i n f e c t a n t .

YODINE is a unique and powerful Sterilizer lethal to Bacteria, Virus, Fungi and Protozoa. Very safe to Fish, Prawn and Shrimp in culture ponds.

Dosage and Usage

  • YODINE is to be used based on the total volume of the water body.
  • Fish, Prawn and Shrimp Ponds Dilute the required quantity in 100 litres of water and apply throughout the pond.
  • Use 100 ml to 250 ml per Acre/metre water depth.
  • Use 100 ml to 250 ml per acre/foot water depth or Consult your Aquaculture Specialist for specific usage directions.
